ACE - Warehouse/Cargo Handling Agent

Job Description

The Warehouse agent is responsible for performing physical and clerical tasks associated with cargo handling and processing. Duties include loading and off-loading trucks, verifying shipping documents, labeling, checking for damage and accuracy of shipment, and performing all other responsibilities as directed or as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Provides excellent service to internal and external customers in receiving and processing cargo

  • Accurately and efficiently handles and stages cargo as directed

  • Prepares and processes daily shipments

  • Utilizes computer to input data and verify documents

  • Identifies damaged cargo

  • Assists in all maintenance responsibilities and activities required in the warehouse

  • Maintains fixtures and equipment storage

  • Assists with general upkeep and cleanliness of warehouse

  • Ability to handle fast-paced work environment

  • Ability to learn PC skills and apply

  • Ability to drive all cargo handling equipment

Additional Info Requirements Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and pass background check

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

  • Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions in English

  • Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs

  • Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform job functions

  • Requires the ability to interact with co-workers, drivers and customers in a friendly, enthusiastic and positive manner

GSA Cargo Outside Sales - Eastern United States

The Cargo Sales Executive from WAS shall work with appointed Airlines to introduce the cargo product to new freight forwarders in the market but also maintaining the current ones operating as a GSA of appointed Airline and maintain sales and high standard of service to customers, control of cargo operations, recommend, implement and effectively control pricing, manage policies and procedures. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Maintain and expand business in the assigned area.

  • Negotiate agreements and resolves potential issues or problems with clients.

  • Expands existing or current customer base by recognizing and involving top cargo agents

within the area.

  • Create awareness of all the products and services in the area to magnify market influence

and generate future sales.

  • Develop sales network and price structure to attain targets and increase revenues.

  • Implement customer service procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Other administrative tasks may include some required budget assistance; payment

processing, personnel activities, and staff scheduling.

Job Skills:

  • Very good knowledge of International and domestic Airlines/ Airfreight Sales Cargo, good knowledge of customs, air and surface

            movement, local state legislation related to the industry. 

  • Good at Sales skill

  • Organized, process- oriented.

  • Hard working and can do multi tasks.

  • Must possess a complete understanding of the flight/cargo operations

  • Solving problem skill.

  • Excellent communication and building relationship.

  • High motivated, disciplined and compliance.

  • Excellent customer service mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications/Experience/Education:

•               • 3-5 years of non-asset trucking brokerage experience,

•               • A track record of generating a minimum of $100,000 annually in gross profit,

•               • Strong relationships with carriers & a loyal existing customer base,

•               • Proficiency with MS Office and truck brokerage TMS’s.
